LUME Pergolas & Outdoor Living

FAQ

PRODUCT & DESIGN

Azenco pergolas feature precision-engineered aluminum, fully sealed louvers, hidden hardware, and advanced motorized control designed for durability and refined aesthetics. Every system is built for architectural integration and high performance in Austin’s climate.

Yes. Each pergola is fully customizable — including size, color, posts, lighting, screens, and automation options. We design every project around your architecture and the way you want to use the space.

Yes. When closed, Azenco louvers channel water into an integrated drainage system designed to handle heavy rainfall and prevent dripping at the edges.

In most cases, yes. We evaluate structural conditions, waterproofing, and drainage during the On-Site Design Study to ensure proper integration.

Absolutely. Azenco systems support LED lighting, fans, heaters, and motorized screens, all integrated cleanly into the design.

Azenco’s motorized louvers let you modulate light throughout the day—opening fully for sun, angling for shade, or sealing during rain. This creates a comfortable environment while protecting natural light inside the home.

No. Unlike traditional patio covers, louvered systems allow you to choose how much light reaches your interior. Many clients install pergolas specifically to manage heat and glare without darkening their home.

INSTALLATION, PERMITTING & ENGINEERING

Attached structures usually require a permit. Many freestanding or cabana-style pergolas do not. LUME handles all assessments and submissions so the process is seamless.

Most installations take 2–4 days after fabrication is complete, depending on size and site conditions.

Yes. Every project includes detailed shop drawings — posts, elevations, drainage, electrical routes, and louver orientation.

A full evaluation of light, shade, drainage, structure, electrical access, and architectural alignment. This ensures your pergola feels intentional and precise.

Azenco pergolas are engineered for Austin’s climate—high heat, strong sun, and heavy rain. Structural aluminum, durable finishes, and integrated drainage ensure year-round performance and reliability.

COST, FINANCING & PRICING

Most Austin projects range from $25,000–$70,000, depending on size, configuration, screens, lighting, and site conditions. Each project is custom designed, so pricing varies.

Yes. Through our lending partner, you can finance most or all of your project with flexible terms.

Design, engineering, fabrication, delivery, installation, and any selected lighting, screens, or automation.
